Sometimes...

...you need to stop and just drink in the small moments of life. *The moment when an aunt told me that it was in my class that her nephew had learned how to study and has succeeded ever since. *You see your son up on stage singing so perfectly you want to cry! *Your three year old is singing along to "Turn me on" at the top of her lungs while your 16 year old just stares in disapproval. *The adrenaline rush you get when you are up on stage singing your heart out or screaming your lungs out as you go on a crazy ride for the SECOND time! *Finding the perfect pen and then realizing that everyone else likes the same kind of pen so you have to hide yours because everyone wants the color that YOU have! *You look over at your 12 year old daughter and think how on earth did I give birth to such a stunning creature?!?? *Listening to Bruno Mars and realizing how perfectly perfect your day was. *Laughing hysterically because it's one in the morning and EVERYTHING is funny!! Well, I guess that's all for now...I'd say more about my life but I am waiting...

The jar lid is too tight...

...and I can't open it! 0.o I tried...I really, really, really tried-the kids tried- but to no avail. *sigh. Not sure if the jar is a metaphor for life or just a subtle suggestion that I need to work on my upper body strength, but there it is. : )

In other news, I seem to be doing okay on the whole get fit thing. For example, I ate salad and fat free milk for dinner. I will admit,though, that it had cheese on it- a lot of cheese!!- and the milk had chocolate syrup. Lol !!! But I'm trying and that's the important part!!!! : )

As for the rest of my life, well, let's just say that the world doesn't stop even when your heart does...
